Over the decades, the Boy Scouts of America has been a leader in developing training and policies designed to keep young people safe. Over time, these policies have become standard with organizations across the nation. Now, the Boy Scouts of America is releasing fully updated training to further strengthen our ability to protect youth. All volunteers must take the new training by October 1, 2018, no matter when they took the previous training.
We are looking for 15 Scouters and Older Scouts to help as the Market to Market Relay uses the Cornhusker OEC on September 30th as an exchange point. Lets show them some great hospitality.

It's time to start thinking about Husker Football again, and with the new additions in East Stadium, we need MORE USHERS!!! If you are interested in ushering at the Home football games, all you have to do is get signed up on-line. Sign up on-line by clicking Scout Ushering Registration All Ushers must be registered with the Boy Scouts, and wear a FULL uniform to the games. (Scout Shirt, pants or shorts, socks, and belt)
Cornhusker Council is offering the Wilderness First Aid course to help you meet the requirements so you can do high adventure activities this summer. Wilderness and Remote First Aid is a 16-hour course that provides individuals a foundation of first aid knowledge and skills to be able to respond to emergencies and give care in areas that do not have immediate access to EMS response. This includes wilderness and remote environments and urban disasters, such as earthquakes and hurricanes. This training is designed for individuals who are at least 14 years of age and hold a current certificate in Adult CPR/AED. The course is being offered on the following dates and you must be present at all to complete: Thursday Jun 1st, 6-10pm, Friday June 2nd 6-10pm, Saturday June 3rd 8am-5pm
